Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026
CAW Cash is built to collect as little as possible. We never ask for your government ID, bank details, or private keys. This page explains exactly what we do collect and why.

1. What We Collect

DataWhy
X (Twitter) account info you authorize via login (username, user ID, display name, profile image)Identify your account and let people send to you by @username
Wallet address(es) you generate or connectRequired to construct and relay your transactions
Device/browser info, IP-derived country, languageFraud prevention, abuse/rate-limit protection, localization
Usage events (e.g. which features you use, voice vs. text input)Improve the product, diagnose problems
Contact form submissionsRespond to your inquiry

We do not collect passwords for the Service (login is via X OAuth), and we never have access to your private keys.

2. Blockchain Data Is Public

Transactions you make are broadcast to the Base blockchain, a public ledger. Your wallet address and transaction history on-chain are visible to anyone, independent of anything we do — this is a property of the blockchain itself, not something CAW Cash controls.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who We Share It With

We use infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud hosting, database, analytics) to run the Service; they process data on our behalf under their own security practices. We may disclose information if legally required to do so (for example, in response to a valid legal order), or to protect the Service or its users from fraud or abuse.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

The app uses browser local storage (not third-party ad-tracking cookies) to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (language, currency display, etc.) between visits.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction-adjacent data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to meet fraud-prevention and legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of data we're not otherwise required to keep.

7. Your Choices

You can disconnect your X account, stop using the Service, and (subject to Section 6) request deletion of your account data by contacting us. Your wallet and on-chain history exist independently of us and cannot be "deleted" — they are yours, on a public blockchain.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to, and must not be used by, anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.

10. Contact

Questions about this Policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent via the contact form on caw.cash.
